Handan Boyce kandidiert als Präsidentin auf der 53. ICCA Konferenz

Vom 1. bis zum 5. November findet die 53. Konferenz der International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) in Antalya, Türkei statt. In diesem Jahr wird die Hauptversammlung einen neuen ICCA Präsidenten wählen, da die Amtszeit des bisherigen Präsidenten Arnaldo Nardone nach vier Jahren endet. Handan Boyce, General Managerin des Halic Congress Centers und ehemalige General Managerin des Istanbul Convention & Visitors Bureau, tritt als Kandidatin für das Präsidentschaftsamt an.

„We have achieved a huge amount so far but there is always a long way to go with many new areas to discover. ICCA is our community and we can still reach new heights for ourselves personally, as professionals, in our business and in recognition for our industry at large“, betont Handan Boyce. 2006 übernahm sie die erste Führungsposition innerhalb der ICCA und stieg schnell über verschiedene leitende Positionen auf. Zuletzt wurde sie 2010 Mitglied des Management and Finance Committee und zur 3. Vizepräsidentin der ICCA gewählt.
